Les Miserables 2012

Movie event of the year? not really. Don't get me wrong, I loved this movie. If you are familiar with the story of Jean Valjean then you will know nearly any retelling would be pretty awesome. I have not seen, read any other version of it so this was my first les mis thing. I would say it was pretty good with good performances from all the main characters. Would recommend paying money to watch at cinemas for those who enjoy song, for those who arent so keen on the music, wait to rent it or something. I was waiting for a pause in the music, for someone to say their lines but it never came but I still enjoyed all the music.

Dedicated to some ducks trying to find direction.

The Perks Of Being A Wallflower 2012

I am told the book is better, but this movie was amazing. Obviously targeting the teenage/young adult demographic because anyone of this age will love this movie. Would recommend paying to watch this in the cinema. Notable mention to Ezra Miller, who was just incredible in this film. Also confirming that Emma Watson has potential for career outside Hermione Granger. Older audiences will probably enjoy the soundtrack with great tracks from the 70-80s that compliment the movie well.

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 2012

For anyone who likes the series, I would recommend you skip this post. Although it is possibly the strongest of the series, it is terrible as it shows you what you want to see, and then makes it crap. Would only recommend going to watch this if being forced by a girlfriend. Maybe, just maybe watch it at home with a lot of people who are really bored and want to watch something bad. Do NOT spend money on this. (unless for gf then no choice)

Pitch Perfect 2012

Loved this movie, hilarious musical movie that anyone should enjoy. Would strongly recommend for people who loved Glee before it became shit. You better aca-believe that you will enjoy this. Recognition should be given to Fat Amy who was hilarious and Anna Kendrick who is always awesome. Worth paying to watch this at the cinema.

Wreck-It Ralph 2012

Was waiting for Wreck It Ralph with great anticipation after seeing the trailer promising cameo by well known characters such as Sonic, and Zangief. The movie was enjoyable and definitly worth watching in cinema, although 3D little unnecessary. It felt like it had potential to be a classic. Kids movie that anyone will enjoy, especially if you had a childhood and played some games. Definitly a go watch at the movies.

Life Of Pi 2012

Life of Pi was worth paying the extra money to go watch a few weeks earlier. An adaptation of the novel by the same name, it entails a story of a boy lost at sea. Although I haven't read the book, I enjoyed the movie a lot and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a movie about the human condition. It is also one of the few movies that really makes good use of 3D, and is also visually stunning, I dare you to not be amazed.
